About

When the curtains rise, PAAB is the band that shows up ready to set the stage on fire. Led by frontman and musical alchemist Pablo van der Hulst, this group blends funk and disco-inspired grooves with heartfelt songs full of emotion and self-reflection, creating a sound that crosses genres but always hits where it matters. Their songs combine tight rhythms with stories people can relate to, inviting everyone to dance along with their music.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, PAAB has started their musical journey with their debut EP Dirty Work, a record that incorporates the raw, live energy that defines their shows. Their unique mix of instrumental funk and meaningful songwriting has built them a loyal following. After the release, they headlined Haarlem Jazz, playing to over 1,500 fans in their hometown, and took home the Audience Award at the Rob Acda Awards. They’ve also taken the stage at renowned Dutch venues like Melkweg, Patronaat and PAARD.

Right now, PAAB is cooking up new material that pushes their sound even further into a refined, professional direction. Their goal is simple: to keep bringing unforgettable live shows, reach new ears, and make their mark as one of the most exciting new acts in the alternative pop-scene.
